1. ALWAYS PRESS THE # KEY!!!
After entering the destination number, please ALWAYS press the # key! This will send a signal to our system to confirm the completion of your entry. Not pressing the # key may result in extra long distance charge from your phone company.
One way to confirm your call is connected via HaiwaiTEL is to wait for the minutes prompt. If you hear the "Your remaining minutes are ..." prompt, then your call is connected via HaiwaiTEL.
2. DO NOT PRESS THE "SEND" KEY!!
If you are using a cell phone, please make sure you DO NOT press the "send" key on your device! It may result in extra long distance charge from your phone company.
If you do not hear the minutes prompt before the ringing starts, please hang up immediately because the call may already be connected through your mobile network carrier.
3. CANCEL INTERNATIONAL CALLING
The best way to prevent your call being mistakenly completed by your phone company is to cancel the international long distance calling feature with your phone company. This way, your international call will never be connected through your phone company.
Please contact your phone company or mobile network carrier and inquire about cancelling international long distance calling feature.
